Kahakai Collection is a small family business inspired by our children's deep love for the water. Kahakai means ocean or salt water in Hawaiian, and our entire collection is inspired by the beauty of the Hawaiian culture and LIFE that the ocean brings to our children.  I am a wife, and mother of 5 children, 2 of which do have autism, the one area they thrive is the water! So, we decided to make the needed sacrifices, downsize and move from the mainland to the islands, and start a new beginning in hopes of giving our children the peace they strive for each and every day.

It was very important for me to be able to find a way to generate income while still allowing time to dedicate to raising and caring for our 5 children. Each day brings its own obstacles, but it also creates a new page of creativity in our book of life. Your generosity and support in our small business mean so much! MAHALO!
